Privacy policy
- Ajar collects no data about you. It has no account, no ads, and no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and it doesn't track you.
- Ajar doesn't send anything to us or to anyone else. Its places, pictures and sounds are all inside the app.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Who we are
Ajar (“we”, “us”) makes the Ajar app for iPhone. If you have a question about this policy, write to support@alpha-aal.com.
What stays on your device
These are stored only on your iPhone, and only so the app works the way you left it:
- the sound levels you set for each place
- your choice of controls (the control style, the wheel's finish, and whether the wheel clicks)
Deleting the app deletes them.
Sensors
Ajar reads the angle of iPhone Duo's hinge, so folding it can soften the sound and fog the glass, and the phone's tilt, so the picture moves gently as you move. These readings are used on the device at the moment they're made. They're never stored or sent anywhere. Ajar doesn't use the microphone, camera, location or contacts.
Purchases
Places are bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app which places you own; we receive no payment information and nothing that identifies you. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Data we collect
None. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to keep, share, sell or delete. If Apple shares crash reports with developers, that happens only if you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, and those reports contain no personal information.
Children
Ajar is suitable for everyone and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. If Ajar ever began to collect data, we'd say so here first and ask your permission in the app before collecting anything.
